(CIS) is an accredited agency with the American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) to provide heat treatment (HT) inspection services for both lumber and Wood Packaging Materials (WPM). CIS heat treatment program was established to meet the growing needs for wood packaging producers and lumber producers who must conform to international standards for WPM in accordance with International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), and ALSC guidelines.
