The American Legion is the largest patriotic, Veteran organization in the U.S. with overseas units world-wide. We are a veteran's run organization that has been in Antioch, IL since 1926. Antioch American Legion - Antioch Illinois Post 748 is a small post, but has many opportunities for members. I developed a non-profit organization focusing on veterans in comic arts. I hired a veteran, who earned a Purple Heart, to teach comic drawing and publication to veterans and the community. My family is a military family with my father, who served in the army, my uncle, a Marine, who fought in the Vietnam War and his son, who followed in his footsteps as a Marine.
