Welcome to the Muleshoe Texas Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture! Soon after the railroad passed through Muleshoe, the town expanded rapidly. In 1917 Muleshoe became the county seat after Bailey County was organized, but it was not incorporated until 1926. Muleshoe continued to grow quickly, and by 1930 there were 800 residents in the town. Three decades later Muleshoe tripled in population to 3,871. Newly formed in 2017, the chamber was created to serve 2 equally important main goals. First, to help leverage money, time and resources to help veteran focused non-profits groups. In recognition of their daily needs, most smaller non-profits do not have sufficient means to organize and expand their services. Selected non-profits will have access on a group level to leverage time and resources from each other as well the chamber and its members. The chamber through memberships, fees, events and sponsorship will be able to donate funds to our associated non-profits to help resolve monetary stress. This will represent approximately 25% of our time spent. Secondly, there are over 58,000 veteran owned businesses in NJ. These entrepreneurs have successfully transitioned from service to civilian life and are a productive part of our workforce. Currently, we are the only veteran chamber of commerce in NJ. Veterans deserve a presence and voice that recognizes the sacrifices made by promoting and supporting their business efforts. This will represent 75% of our time.

Melbourne Regional Chamber’s Veterans Resource Committee enables Veterans to find the resources they need in order to establish businesses, helped find special deals and discounts to Veterans throughout Brevard County or assists in contacting organizations that provide needed support to those who proudly served.

The purpose for the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses, Inc. (FAVOB) is to promote and unite the many established and start-up businesses that are owned by Veterans and Disabled Veterans throughout the State of Florida, and to increase awareness of the organization at the city, county, state and federal levels. Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses is a Florida Corporation, Non-Profit 501c (6) Organization for the benefit of Veteran Business Owners in an effort to give Veterans the same opportunities as other disadvantaged groups with respect to selection for work, for bidding opportunities, and for project contract awards. It is the intent of FAVOB to help grow these Veteran businesses, as well as support and endorse employing Veterans as they return from active and reserve duty to join the civilian workforce. The United States Veterans Inc., Chamber of Commerce, INC (USVIncCC) is a membership organization whose ranks are made up primarily of veterans serving a cross section of over 3.7 million veteran owned businesses (VOB) ranging from sole proprietors to large corporations and conglomerates. That generated sales/receipts of $2.4 trillion, employed 8.2 million employees, and annual payroll of $280 billion. The veteran owned business community, in conjunction with the 167 million military personnel, veterans, their dependents and family members who make up the military community, and they are the most powerful, political, economic and influential consumer force in the United States and; is America's greatest hope for economic recovery of the country.

Our nation has more than 21 million veterans; Connecticut has 1% of the nation’s veteran population, more than 216,000. There are more than 42,000 veteran-owned businesses, which account for 8% of the state’s GDP. Connecticut has one of the best Veteran-to-Business-Owner ratios in the country at about 1 veteran-owned business for every 5 veterans. In late 2013, the separate voices asking for support, training, education, and advocacy in the veteran business community, and the dynamic needs of veterans transitioning to the workforce came together to build a veteran-centric business community. As the CT Vets Chamber continues to evolve and grow, we will be taking direction from our membership and adding valuable training and professional development opportunities. We invite you to be a part of this growing community and a movement to create sustainable economic opportunity for veterans in Connecticut and across the country. Our goal is to develop a strong unified community that resembled what we experienced in the military.
