We understand that a veteran returning to civilian life may be presented with a number of challenges. Many veterans' obligations parallel those of civilians, such as unemployment, that's why the NYS Veteran Chamber of Commerce is committed to serving and creating opportunities for those who have already has served for US!

    Newly formed in 2017, the chamber was created to serve 2 equally important main goals. First, to help leverage money, time and resources to help veteran focused non-profits groups. In recognition of their daily needs, most smaller non-profits do not have sufficient means to organize and expand their services. Selected non-profits will have access on a group level to leverage time and resources from each other as well the chamber and its members. The chamber through memberships, fees, events and sponsorship will be able to donate funds to our associated non-profits to help resolve monetary stress. This will represent approximately 25% of our time spent. Secondly, there are over 58,000 veteran owned businesses in NJ. These entrepreneurs have successfully transitioned from service to civilian life and are a productive part of our workforce. Currently, we are the only veteran chamber of commerce in NJ. Veterans deserve a presence and voice that recognizes the sacrifices made by promoting and supporting their business efforts. This will represent 75% of our time.
