Never Forgotten Honor Flight has a very simple mission: We want to fly as many Veterans as are able to Washington to experience “their” Memorial and a few other sights and sounds of the nation’s capital, at no cost to our Veterans.

The corporation was borne from CorpsStories.com, an online publication launched on Memorial Day 2002. The organization was incorporated in July 2005 and received IRS status in September 2005. We tell the complete life story of those who pay the ultimate price for our freedom. Working with the families and friends of the Fallen, we employ professional writers to produce a full biography honoring the life and sacrifice made by each military service person. We produce books in print and digital formats, as well as video documentaries, that are given to the next of kin at no cost to them and sold at retail to extended family, friends, and interested members of the public. We also give living Veterans a way to pay tribute to their fallen comrades. We are a non-profit that serves the memory of those who have served.

The Guardians Inc, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to raising funds and awareness for veteran rehabilitation, cancer research, natural disaster relief, and community improvement. NABVETS COLUMBIASC CHAPTER #0123, is a Charter/Chapter member of the National Association For Black Veteran, NABVETS INC., founded and established in Milwaukee, WI, by eight WWII Combat Veterans who wanted to do and have more by way of services and support for all Black and Minority Veteran who were in their eyes being undeserved. NABVETS COLUMBIASC saw the vision and moved forward in it.

Under the leadership of Executive Director Ken Buckles, Remembering America's Heroes (RAH) provides education to youth and the community so they can understand and appreciate the value of freedom and its cost. For the past fourteen years, RAH has been known for Milwaukie High School's Living History Day, which is the biggest and most comprehensive school program honoring Veterans in the state. In 2008, over 700 Veterans and their guests attended the all-day signature event at Milwaukie High School (MHS). Living History Day at MHS includes speaker sessions, where small pairings of Veterans speak to students in classrooms about their experiences; a luncheon hosted by MHS students; a Gold Star Assembly that pays tribute to 50 MHS students and one teacher who lost their lives serving our country; and an impressive museum with over 50 military memorabilia/artifact collectors spread throughout the gym and outdoor areas. The day culminates in the Assembly of Honor, a recreated USO Show that includes performances by students and professional performers, as well as comedy, words of inspiration, and special recognition of our Veterans. MHS students spend days, even weeks, decorating the campus in preparation. Many alumni come back each year to help out as well. Honoring Americas Warriors is a 501(c) (3) non-profit tax exempt organization dedicated to supporting the physical, mental, and spiritual wellness services to our nation’s veterans. Honoring Americas Warriors provides teams of disabled / retired veterans a new mission to be back in service dress uniform to provide / augment military funeral honors for our brave that have served this country, colors presentations, memorials, and dedications to pay it forward once again. Honoring Americas Warriors also provides direct support to our nation’s heroes in the areas of outdoor sporting activities, adaptive sports, mental health & spiritual wellness, family & couples gatherings, service/companion dog placement, employment as well as promote prevention of veteran suicide, and “Homes for Warriors” program. Honoring Americas Warriors works with community leaders, elected officials and legislators, and other non-profit organizations to enhance veteran's awareness and promote veteran's initiatives.

We at the “The Fight Continues” are starting a Veteran Service Project for the first Veterans Day after the end of the Iraq war. For all young Veterans who want to give something back, we at “The Fight Continues” will read all names of our fallen veterans throughout all conflicts from the birth of the United States of America. Heroes Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to Honoring our Heroes better. A Black Rose Campaign's Mission: To Raise Awareness A Black Rose Campaign's main goal is to show the nation that we will no longer stand for men and women in our armed forces being abused and sexually assaulted. We do this through our Black Rose Campaign. To Create a Place to Speak Out Nothing is more painful than holding the trauma of abuse inside. A Black Rose aims to create a safe and-if need be-anonymous way to speak out on the topic of abuse in the military. This issue is real, and your support proves that. To Create Change Our military brothers and sisters serving this country still face startling statistical atrocities. Together, we must work towards the prevention of abuse and harassment. We believe that all members of the armed forces deserve to serve without fear of being abused by their fellow soldiers.

National Veterans Council for Legal Redress (NVCLR) carries on programs and forums to educate the public with respect to the treatment of Veterans with other than honorable discharges and to work toward society's acceptance of such Veterans. We assist needy Veterans and their families in dealing with problems resulting from other than honorable Veteran Status; provide training and technical assistance to other non-profit Veterans Organizations; and provide Veterans with support, in obtaining employment, medical and educational benefits, as well meals, clothing, transportation, and housing.

Colorado Veterans Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that hosts special events in order to raise awareness and funds for local Veterans and Veterans organizations. Veterans Museum at Balboa Park was formed in March 1989 to create, maintain and operate an institution to honor and perpetuate the memories of all men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. The Veterans Museum & Memorial Center was chartered to serve five categories of function: Serves as a host to programs that perpetuate the memories of deceased veterans or members of the United States Armed Forces and to comfort their survivors. Serves as a home for programs for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes that promote public awareness concerning the sacrifices and contributions of men and women who serve and have served in the Armed forces. Serves as a venue for services and social and recreational activities for veterans, active duty personnel, and the general public, which are compatible with other purposes of the Veterans Museum & Memorial Center. Serves as a the regular meeting place for many of the San Diego region's veterans and active-duty military organizations. Serves as a museum presenting permanent, rotating and visiting exhibits of patriotic, military and war-related memorabilia, artifacts, photographs, and other artwork.

Sugar Bear Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Foundation formed in honor of my late husband, Lieutenant Colonel Mario "Sugar Bear" Carazo. Sugar Bear made the ultimate sacrifice July 22, 2010. We host events and raise funds for existing programs that support surviving spouses and children.

We are a Veteran's Resource Center. We have community resources to assist veteran's and their families. These include a clothing pantry, food pantry, assistance with paying utilities after all other resources are exhausted. Assistance with locating housing and employment. Our veteran's resource officer can assist with various VA paperwork and will be able to explain the process and what paperwork will be needed to request an upgrade in status. The MARSOC Foundation d/b/a Marine Raider Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides benevolent support to Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) personnel and their families, as well as WWII Marine Raiders. The Foundation fills gaps where the government and other entities are not able to assist, and emphasizes building personal, professional and family resiliency. Comments on the Military and Business Ownership The Founder of the MARSOC Foundation d/b/a Marine Raider Foundation saw firsthand gaps that could be filled for the Raider community by a benevolent organization. The Founder is also familiar with the service and sacrifice of MARSOC personnel and their families, and the importance of building and enhancing resiliency personally, professionally and for the entire family.
