Liberty Organization for Veterans and Emergency Responders is a nonprofit charity serving active duty and veteran military, all categories of emergency responders, and their families when they are injured in the line of duty. We are an organization providing Military Career Transition Coaching directly assisting military veterans and spouses by introducing them to Veteran Friendly Employers. Our goal is to create a competitive advantage and preferential hiring treatment after serving our Nation honorably, allowing all veterans a rewarding career path. We build relationships with C-level executives, human resource professionals and marketing directors to engage with military veterans and/or spouses by enabling a Career Discovery Program in a desired career area for a limited engagement. This innovative, unique and cost effective model provides a military veteran and/or spouse to be able to present themselves onsite in an environment that is subjective and informal. Bridging The Gap hosts monthly Career Transition Bootcamps on military installations and college campuses educating on the career tactics, techniques and procedures then engage with Employers in “Speed Interviewing” sessions. We are a Veteran's Resource Center. We have community resources to assist veteran's and their families. These include a clothing pantry, food pantry, assistance with paying utilities after all other resources are exhausted. Assistance with locating housing and employment. Our veteran's resource officer can assist with various VA paperwork and will be able to explain the process and what paperwork will be needed to request an upgrade in status.
