Inspiring Our Heroes
Non-Profit OrganizationOrleans, MI 48865Inspiring Our Heroes is dedicated to helping Veterans achieve self-growth by embracing their unique qualities and assets so that they can improve their lives. Through adventurous expeditions, team-building exercises and the positive influence of experienced like-minded mentors, our heroes will become re-motivated, re-energized and learn how to re-invent themselves as a civilian. We realize that when providing aid to heal an injury, be it physical or mental, a large component of being successful is allowing plenty of autonomy for the patient. We believe that humans inherently possess the ability to heal themselves better than anyone else if they look deep enough and have enough options available. We also believe that when a person is given the opportunity to heal themselves the way they see fit, it is much more effective than following any plan that a practitioner could make on their own. We are a nonprofit, following all state and federal procedures and regulations. Our mission and foundation are for Americas Veterans. Our founders are Combat Veterans themselves with one or multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. They have the experience of dealing with PTSD and have overcome the obstacles and injuries that come along with PTSD. They founded this organization to share what they have experienced in the coping process to every Veteran. Also, not only to assist the Veteran, as well as the Veterans significant other.
