(a congressionally chartered veterans organization), those who are eligible for membership therein, or any wounded, disabled and/or handicapped veteran, his widow, orphan or survivors, For the support and maintenance of liaison services in any or all offices of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, soldier's homes.

Non-Profit Veterans Service Organization Military Order of the Purple Heart Volusia County Chapter 316 is a 501 (c) Veteran Service Organization located in Daytona Beach, Volusia County. We are an all volunteer organization comprised of over 100 active members to include Life Members who are recipients of the Purple Heart and Associate Members who are direct relatives of Life Members. Nationwide MOPH has 46,000 Members and 478 Chapters. Our mission is to foster an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among Combat Wounded Veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all Veterans and their families in East Central Florida.
