  • QRF Staffing and Consulting

    Non-Profit Organization
    Huntington, WV 25701

QRF Staffing and Consulting is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Veteran owned and operated organization that operates as a single intake facility for Veterans and First Responders as they transition back into civilian life. No matter what our clients need, we will walk right beside them every step of the way. Need help navigating the VA? Need career transition assistance? Need job retraining? Need help writing your resume? Need help getting an interview or navigating USAJobs? No matter what you need help with, we will be there so you're not on your own. Many Veterans and First Responders receive little to no assistance when they transition back into the civilian workforce. Conversely, many employers face the struggle of finding qualified applicants in the traditional talent pool. We provide enhanced assistance, training, and career placement opportunities focused on Veterans and First Responders to ease the transition into new career opportunities. 22 Veterans a day take their own life, many because of overwhelming feelings due to the transition out of Military service as well as the stigma of PTSD. Hundreds of First Responders also suffer this same fate at their own hands every year due to these same issues. Even one suicide is one too many. Our overall mission is to stop this outcome in any way we can. Comments on the Military and Business Ownership As a Veteran and former LEO, I understand all too well the struggles that many military veterans face while transitioning back into the civilian workforce after serving in the military and as an officer. My time in the military was cut short due to injury, but my ability to serve my fellow brothers and sisters is nowhere close to finished. I will always place the mission first - I will never accept defeat - I will never leave a fallen comrade.

  • We Got Your Six

    Non-Profit Organization
    Denton, TX 76205

We Got Your Six is a veteran owned IRS recognized 501(c)(3) public charity with a mission to help get homeless veterans off the streets. We are not a homeless shelter, we are a homeless veterans transition center. We will be teaching them how to grow their own food and work with animals. It will be up to the veterans living on the ranch to make it self sufficient, so it will help give them a sense of purpose and pride when they succeed. Helping to rebuild their confidence. We will also help them build resumes, find jobs, transportation, and places to live. They will be required to take money management and budgeting classes as well. Comments on the Military and Business Ownership I was an instructor that trained soldiers to deploy, so that made me good at teaching large groups of people. It also made me get out of my comfort zone, because some outranked me, and I had to learn how to talk to them with respect, while being their instructor. It made me grow. I was also an NCO, and had to work with people from different backgrounds to make the mission work and lead them to success.
